Not content with throwing himself at top speed down the steep banks in the garden, Pongo has now decided he enjoys finishing his 'dog going crazy' routine round the garden by leaping down off an eight foot wall onto the gravel. It scares the living daylights out of me. Short of putting him on a lead or laying mattresses all over the gravel, however, I don't see a way to avoid it! Pongo, you'll be the death of me...
Re: Pongo Ninja They have no fear do they?! Harv does much the same as part of his 'Wall of death' circuit around the garden. Fortunately the wall in question is closer to two foot than eight foot. I don't think there is anything that can be done about it - just wait until they are older and decide for themselves that it is no longer appropriate behaviour (but don't hold your breath! )
Re: Pongo Ninja I think he enjoys the adrenaline rush - like kids enjoy the roller coaster, even when (especially when) it makes them scream in terror!

Re: Pongo Ninja That's the Pongo we have all grown to adore. (Hope Bud doesn't get any ideas when he reads this though.) I sympathise with the concern he causes you Rosie. One can only hope he either learns to calm down over time, or that he is actually aware of what he is doing and times everything to perfection to avoid any injury!
