Glad you're feeling better. I suffer from bad neck too and it can be really painful.

Love to Harley from me and Megs.

Hope Harley is well on the mend now.

Not surprising if dogs pick up and eat things that aren't good for them, the amount of rubbish people just throw down. Lots of posters telling us it is an offence to let our dogs foul, and rightly so. But what makes people think that their discarded cigarette, crisp packet, tissue etc contributes to the environment. Growl

    Thanks all ;)

Harley is continuing to eat rice and chicken, but is eating slower than usual (which isn't a bad thing!). Since this morning she has not had a poo at all which is a bit concerning. Is this normal? She is a bit better in herself, but still sleeping quite a bit.

    Thanks x

Yes, it's completely normal. Her digestive system will take a couple of days to return to usual!

We had SUCH a poo event with Charlie after an upset tum!

He got a bit "bunged up" after the runs, didn't have a poo for a while, and then had a poo in the middle of the night - and boy, did the whole house (and probably, street) know about it!

Yes it's ok that she hasn't had a poo for while, hopefully should mean that things are getting back to normal!!

Glad she seems to be on the mend and sorry to hear you've been poorly with your neck! Hope you're on the mend soon too!

Off to the vets again :( late last night, 2am, 5am then 7.30am Harley had severe diarrhea! and again as soon as I got home lunch time and again just now. She is now starting to cry when she goes :'( :( up until then, it had calmed down and she was much better in herself, hence the walk to the duck pond! Not a good day :(

Just back from the vets......so glad they are only 5 mins in the car away :)

They have given Harley some more paste and some antibiotics. I have to take her back Friday to be assessed again :(

It is really difficult at the minute for both of us :( going to have cuddle time and do some of my cross stitch :)

This sounds exactly like what Charlie had at Christmas. As soon as he could keep the ABs down, he started to get better. Hope she is on the mend soon.

You can buy the paste (if it's pro-kolin) online much cheaper than at the vet's (my vet, anyway).

    Re: Poorly girl

Really sorry to hear that Harley is poorly again. It is so upsetting, you think they are on their way to recovery and you are back at the Vet's again.

The old style nurse at my doctors surgery used to prescribe TLC. Thirty years later it is still a good prescription

I always found cross stitch very calming. The actual stitching is quite rhythmic and you really have to concentrate on the chart, helps block out worrying thoughts.

Cuddle up. Science is now discovering that it is physically good for us. Who would have thought it, after millennia they are discovering that love is good for people and pets
