    Oh, poor little mite, and poor you. You must be terribly worried. It sounds like the vet has it all under control. Do let us know when she's back home and you're having gentle puppy cuddles.

    Hi everyone,
    Fern had a 5 hour op last night with the vet trying to remove some fibrous stuff that was acting like a cheese wire when she tried to get it out and she had to remove some of ferns intestine as a result. We didn't think she'd make the night but the vet phoned this morning to say Fern had been for a wee and a poo and had amazed her.
    Obviously not out of the woods by a long chalk but she's a fighter, that little lady, I'm proud of her. Am waiting for an update form the vet now.
    Through wet eyes, thank you all for your concern, I think I've found a lovely place to chat about my lab xxxx
