So pleased to see news from you and that Fern survived that critical time through the night...what a fright for you.
Years ago,I had a kitten and she realised she could chew on the carpet and unravel the threads...one day she went down hill fast with symptoms very similar to Fern and operating on her revealed a carpet thread had broken off and wrapped around her intestines like a cheese wire round a sausage....that's exactly how the vet described it...she had a huge op and survived and lived to 17!I wonder if Fern has had a go at something like that?
Hope she recovers well,I can remember having to feed Cleo the kitten very small amounts at a time until her insides healed x

Oh I'm so sorry, I hadn't seen your most recent update......I'll leave my post as it is so you can see what I'd written originally.Sending my very best wishes and lots of positive thoughts for your little pup x

I am so very sorry, what a terrible ordeal you are going through right now. Everything crossed for little Fern. You have done absolutely everything, and by doing that have given Fern the best possible chance. She is in the best hands, will be thinking of you both xx

    Fern has lost her fight.
She was too young to be taken and we have no idea how to cope with this.
    RIP my darling Fernlywit.
