Thanks for all your lovely words of support. It's so hard, we didn't have her long enough for very many memories but she is everywhere in the house, the garden. Fern was just becoming a member of the family properly as in she knew the running of the household, where to be, what to do...I'm sure you all know what I mean. I just miss her so much. Her soft ears, her head in my lap to have them rubbed and those eyes...I will never stop seeing them. I guess the tears will stop sometime but that little lady took a big chunk of my heart with her, but she's welcome to it as it is hers anyway, to keep forever xxxx
Oh Marge it is so sad but yes the tears will stop eventually and instead you will smile when you think of her. I know you didn't have long together but I bet she made you smile and laugh with her mischief and antics so many times. Try and think of those times when your feeling sad and smile because the happy times are all you need to remember xx
Just read this. Wasn't here for a few days! How terrible what you went through with little Fern. And what a little fighter she was! I hope you can give it a place in time. It is alright to mourn over your puppy! When you bought her you thought to have her for a couple of years, not for such a small period of time. You loved her, did fun things with her, taught her etc. try to remember the happy times. Annemarie
