Re: Pop bottle!
One word of warning - if they love them too much they end up scavenging for them on every walk.
Very true. Holly will carry one for miles. We're never quite sure what they contain.....
Re: Pop bottle! Plastic bottles thrown up the laminate floored hall still generate mass excitement here with a 3.5 year old and a nearly 3 year old. Brods still has to be supervised to make sure he doesnt eat them though :
Re: Pop bottle! So this might be a silly question, but Ozzie likes plastic bottles too but I've always taken it off him when he bites/chews a bit off because I was worried about it being sharp and him cutting his mouth or himself. I've put kibble in them and cut small holes for the kibble to fall out of as he rolls in when he was a young pup but once he chewed or ripped it I'd take it off him. Am I just over reacting and should I let him just play with it? He's 9 months now. We can't cover it with a sock really as he currently has a sock fetish he never chews or eats it just runs off with it and carries it around, we are tackling this problem slowly as my OH has a tendency to leave them lying around everywhere. I was hoping to just teach Ozzie to put them in the wash basket but he thinks it's more fun to run around like a crazy dog for 10 mins with it, than put it away for me haha.
