Hi, we have a wonderful 6-month old female lab, her name is Poppy! We got her from a breeder as we have a 9-yr old child and wanted to make sure that the dog is a good fit for the family. We looked into rescue, but many dogs had special needs and there were terms and conditions we didn't meet, such as a second older, senior dog at home, prior experience raising a lab, etc. That said, we're thrilled with Poppy, she's everything we wanted and more. We were initially in an apartment and had to move as we needed more space for our pup; now Poppy has access to a large yard to run and play, and hang out watching birds and squirrels. I signed up as I browse threads here often and wanted to be able to post, if needed. I'd like to post a picture, I am not sure I did it the right way (copy-pasted.) Below, is Poppy at 3.5 months of age. Cheers!
