Beulah had her first jabs yesterday & her microchip. She took it in her stride & slept better last night awake twice but stopped crying both times after about 30 mins & no poos in the crate this morning! Anyway she has had her meals fine, did the school run with me (in her harness) fine but she has been sleeping a lot. When she has been awake she has been bright & energetic - am I worrying unneccessarily?

Thanks Lynne - yep I have 4 & 6 yr old boys so know what they were like after their jabs. We got the hoover out today & let her have a sniff round it then she sat on hubby's lap on the other side of the stair gate whilst I did the kitchen - she wasn't fazed at all! It did take me an hour to get back home this morning as people kept stopping to say hello to her :) So proud of my little Beulah.

I didn't have this early stage so can't help......but when they are young puppies they do sleep a lot, like babies.Ive also learned from my experience that as long as Dexter is fed, well excercised and not needing to toilet,he can be quite happy to snooze the quieter times of the days away.....I used to feel guilty that I was not occupying him all the time, but 4 months in,I've realized that as much as I love him its good to enjoy the bits of down time.....he soon lets me know when he's ready for some mischief!
