    Hi all

Any advice/ shared experience welcome. Winnie possibly has a tear to her back right leg. She's been skippy on it off and on. No limp at all and no signs of swelling or her being in pain and still charging around as you'd expect any 12 month old to do.
I know a number of you have experience with this and I know it's a long road to be travelled!
The vet has put her on metacam for two weeks with restricted exercise. Then if no improvement then X-rays.
Winnie is massively active as you can imagine and containing her will be a challenge. Any thoughts anyone?
My worry is the surgery if it comes to that and then to chance of the other one tearing!

I`m sorry , I don't have any experience of cruciate ligament tears myself , but others on here might be able to help you more . There is a sticky article at the top of this section , with advice about keeping dogs occupied when on enforced rest . I hope you have a good outcome , good luck x
