Wispa and Tuppence are very different in character, so that's important when choosing your puppy too. I should have added that I even took a risk with Tuppence as she was bought much more on impulse, for various reasons. Her mother's hip scores were acceptable (but not as good as Wispa's mother's) but she had not been elbow scored - nor tested for EIC either! However, although Tuppence is very play orientated and makes straight for the box of toys when any of my sons come (whereas Wispa greets them first), she is very measured in her speed at retrieving games, whereas Wispa launches herself very exuberantly and doesn't know when she's had enough. Hence the fact that we have to think for her and ensure that she doesn't over-exert herself.

I'm sure the right puppy will be there for you, perhaps even a chocolate one!
