Hi everyone! This is my first post on here. We just got a 8 week old Australian Shepherd. The problem we are having is her peeing after coming inside closely after. Of course she is a puppy and needs months to be fully potty trained but it is seeming to become a habit for her to do that. We usually take her out every hour and stay out there for a considerable amount of time. Yet, she still pees/poos with in minutes of coming inside. Anyone else had This problem? Any tips?
Hi Kevin238 My tips are twofold. When you take her outside do nothing. Have the dog on lead. Just stand in one spot. Don't play. Don't move. Wait. Don't come inside until she urinates or decates. Second, give her a treat each and everytime she urinates or defecates.
