We brought home our black lab, Birdie, two weeks ago. I have been working on recall with her for the last two weeks. She does great following me inside, but the minute we go outside she takes off and does not follow me. I'm not sure if this is normal at this age. I thought they followed you more closely at this stage due to safety. Any suggestions?
