whilst out on my walk this morning, a lady who i pass often with 2 dogs, stopped me said she had been watching me for a number of weeks and could she ask where i take my dog for training. i told her i train him my self, jasper is off lead at the point where i pass this lady, her dogs are also off lead, i was unaware that she had been watching me, she said she was amazed at how well behaved my dog was, ;D ;D ;D ;D i should give myself a big pat on the back, you can imagine the beam on my face, i feel so proud of my self and jasper for responding so well to my commands it only seems like yesterday that i was on the floor in tears thinking of throwing the towel in :'( i don't use clicker or whistle, just verbal commands and hand signals, we got there in the en with a lot of hard work,
Re: proud moment a lot of it kate is down to your advice, thank you for putting up with my private messages to you, chell i cant stop smiling ;D
Re: proud moment Richly deserved compliment. We all know how hard you have, and continue to work with Jasper. A well behaved dog and a nice compliment, what could be better
Re: proud moment still very much ongoing , it as been the hardest thing i have ever done in my life, he as changed my life so much, to think i never went out the door, to going out over 4 hours a day
Re: proud moment You should be proud of Jasper and Jasper should be proud of you ;D How wonderful that he has changed your life and I am sure you are giving him a super life.
Re: proud moment I agree with you Lynn. It is very hard work and definately ongoing. Molly is 9 months and therefore a teenage dog, is trying it on all the time and' forgetting' what she knows.
Re: proud moment jasper is 19 month next week, you will get there just keep training, i thought we woul never get to this level
