Maybe it's the extra awfulness of today/last night, but that quote has just made me burst into tears, it's such a sad image. I'm so so glad that that sweet little dog has found a loving home with you and yours. I hope that her fright yesterday hasn't affected her too badly. Was she ok once you got home?
Yes, she was absolutely fine , seemed glad to be back home . This morning she went off lead on our usual morning walk in the woods, she was great , just back to normal again thank goodness ! Its obvious now that something really upset her, not enough to make her bolt, but acute anxiety , poor little thing , I wont ever put her through that again, knowingly xx
I'm so glad to hear that it hasn't been bothering her, what a relief. Nobody ever wants to have a learning experience because of a bad experience, but at least now you know what to watch out for.
