Larks is doing so well with walking on the lead with one exception. When we turn the corner/turn around to go home, she immediately knows and starts pulling like mad. I stop every time and wait for her to stop and put slack on the lead but it doesn't seem to be helping. As soon as I start moving again she pulls. People have told me to switch up my walking routes and I do, but we have to go towards home at some point! This morning I drove to a trail near our house and she did great but as soon as we turned around she pulled again to get back to the car.
You could try using some nice smelly treats to keep her focused on you but also keep doing as Mags said as it really is the only way
Scully goes a bit mental on the last stretch of pavement just before our road, it's a mix of pulling and running round in circles. She's fine going back to the car if we've driven her somewhere for a walk though. She's getting better but it can feel like you're waiting ages for some calm. I do try and make her sit and do some high-fives to get her focused again, although I admit to one time being so frustrated with her I just picked her up. Fun over! We think she just wants to stay out longer, as it's usually on her very short evening walks that she's the worst.
