Hi, I am new to this forum. Thankyou for having me.
My issue is with the stairs up to flat. I have my own entrance, directly into the back garden.
At the moment I am carrying Ed, (nine weeks old) up and down the stairs day and night to pee etc.
He is very clean in the house, only the odd pee if I miss the signs.
How long must I wait before he can go up and down the stairs himself? I don't mind carrying him, but as he gets heavier this will be harder to do.
In addition, when I go to pick him up now, he runs away.
    Help!!

    Hi @Ian73
    Welcome to the forum.
It's best to avoid stairs for the best part of the first year. I appreciate your issue. How does one manage the situation? Do you have access to a lift/elevator? Runs away? How are picking him up?

Please see the other post on stairs [puppy on third floor and no lift] for a relevant link.
