    Wouldn't it just :)
Since we're on the topic I was very pleased with Cassie's behaviour in the vets yesterday, just a nail clip. No jumping up at all, laydown in waiting room. 6 months ago I never thought we'd see the day.

I'm sure Sky has had a lovely life with you, no deprivation!

That's fab about Cassie - so lovely to see progress and the results of all your hard work.

Yes Sky is a joy. It is funny though seeing her even more excited than Red when the kongs come out - she kind of does a little prancing dance :).

Slow but small steps with our two dogs. They have spent more time together this weekend. Red has times when she wants to jump on Sky and bite her collar. We don't allow it. Know she wants to play but Sky is really not keen. Kong times and when I am doing bits of training with Red and Sky joins in, are good and food is a big motivator with both of them. Last night, Red got in Sky's bed ((Sky doesn't seem to mind this) so I put Red's bed next to it. Sky got in it (first time she has done this) and Red stretched out her leg so it was resting on Sky's back. They looked so cute and stayed like this until bedtime. This may all seem insignificant for those of you who have dogs living happily side by side but it is going in the right direction.

Red is now keen to have her playtime with DH and watches Sky having her playtime awaiting hers.

Yesterday we walked both dogs together - first time we have really tried this. Red was full on pulling initially but then got into her stride and we managed a 20 minute walk mostly loose lead - at least the latter part of the walk was very loose lead. It's a start. We will aim to do this when we can.

I have managed to transition Red onto Symply puppy food from the Hills Prescription i/d - I am so pleased at how this is going - she has had a week of it now. She likes it and her stools are well formed in the main (not as good as when on the i/d but ok). I still use the i/d wet food in her kongs with some kibble.

Now to work on the excess weight Sky has put on.

    Onwards and upwards :).

Great to hear all this @Atemas.
    Slow but steady eh?!
Would love to have seen that little puppy paw on her big sister's back.

Not a good photo but Sky and Red chose to sit on the same bed this afternoon - by the time I had fetched my iPad only had time to take one photo. Red really wants Sky to be her friend - Sky shows little interest in her. Such a shame but it's slowly changing. Onwards and forwards. IMG_0293.JPG

I'm sure beautiful Sky will grow to be happy with Red as she matures. Great photo.

I think that's very encouraging, that Sky didn't get up and move away.

The last couple of nights, Sky and Red have been playing - yay!! They were playing bitey face tonight. There was also lots of tail wagging and licking. We tell them when to stop - Red is beginning to realise when we say enough we mean it and she goes into a down next to Sky. Aah bless them :). Boy, does it tire them out - they are now in each other's beds fast asleep .

That's lovely to read @Atemas . I sometimes worry that Cassie lacks time just to be a dog with other dogs, but today she spent the morning with her Mum, sister and cousin -- sleeping well now !

That's good you could do that. Sky had never played with other dogs - never showed any interest - always 'skirting' around other dogs on walks. The only dog she had really spent time with is my daughter's very chilled greyhound who we look after when they go away. They just sort of accept each other but don't play. It's not something I ever gave any thought to as Sky seemed totally content with her lot. She is having to adjust big time to sharing us now with Red. I think we are getting there but what a slow journey ;):).
