I need some input and opinions please. My 23 week old pup does have both testicles. However, normally, only one is in the scrotum. I have felt both present several times, in the scrotum, but apparently one is playing hide and seek. Also, his testicles seem extremely small, about the size of a grape. The pup is large, around 55 pounds so I wonder if his testicles are underdeveloped.

I'm a hopeful the second will permanently descend soon. He is from the second litter of a pairing of very good field trial dogs with impressive pedigrees. The breeder has been very taciturn about this despite my asking her about it a couple of times. This is frustrating considering the sum I paid for him and because I hope he will sire pups at some point.

Your input and sharing your experience is greatly appreciated.
