I have a ten week old male pup who I have had two weeks now. I am feeding him on the same food as his breeder. He is happy and energetic and has a great appetite but….. He seems to develop diarrhoea every evening. i use his kibble as a training aid so no other food risk. Any ideas????
Sorry to hear you're having to deal with this. Has your pup had a check up with the vet since this started, and is the vet aware it's happening? If not, a call to your vet is the best next step.
Spoke to the vet today and we are trying Royal Canin Gi for puppies to see if that settles things as he is otherwise in good health. Hopefully that will sort it
How is that going? Coda did the exact same thing and Royal Canin GI helped her, until she became allergic to it as well. She's now on Ultamino which is hydrolyzed food (they cut the proteins down to amino acids which can evade the immune system response).
Hi The Royal canin GI worked perfectly. I have now moved him to the Royal Canin breed specific puppy food which he seems to be fine with. I am hoping it was just a blip and that he will be ok now.
