I have read some previous posts from people asking about their puppies ears developing a different shape after hitting the 12ish week mark. What I haven't found is many people following up on whether their puppies ears went back to looking like normal lab ears. My girl is AKC registered and I met both of the parents. The breeder is reputable and has lots of good references. First photo was taken at 11ish weeks. Second photo was taken around 14ish weeks. I've never heard of this happening and wondering if it is normal/common? Anyone have this happen and the ears go back to normal? How long does it take? Thanks, Jo
Hi Jo I think it’s normal. I had a look over Toby’s photos and found some from when he was 7 months. They stuck out for a while and then went flat again. They also did double flip backs that I felt I wanted to untangle. He now only has one but that is a whole other story. Enjoy her as she is. They grow up too fast.
