Hi all I have had my puppy now for a week and he came with the suggestion to keep him on maxi puppy royal canin. As the days have gone on he is eating less and less to the point where I keep feeding him it from hand. I have tried soaking it with warm or cold water as was told when I picked him up and just without soaking but nothing is making a difference. One question is what do you feed your lab puppies and should I keep persevering? I used a stainless steel bowl for food and water. Am I maybe just expecting him to eat more than what he wants. You overthink things so much, could it be the bowl I keep asking myself.
Its early days and he is still settling in, so I think they can be a bit out of sorts. Make sure he has chance to get hungry, pick up food not eaten, wait for the next meal. Also make sure he is not filling up on treats. Pups rarely starve themselves, so just hang in there.
