My 8 month old baby got kennel cough. Her symptoms started yesterday. She is on an antibiotic and taking manuka honey. The coughing is like every 20 min. It breaks my heart. Anyone have advice or can help me what to expect?
I know it can be very distressing listening to them cough like they are choking. Our girl (5.5 years) has had it twice despite being immunised. However, once the antibiotics kick in your pup should recover relatively quickly.
She is starting to sound better today. I think the antibiotics are working. Thank you for your reply!
