    Hi!

So, we got our 4 month old Chocolate pup in April, and I learned pretty quickly that I couldn't wear shoes with laces.;) She had a few moments of biting at my pants leg, and then I learned not to wear my best pants when I interact with her. Now that it's really hot outside, I want to wear shorter pants. I LOVE all my short pants and don't have a pair that I'd be ok with if she got her teeth on them. I tried to wear them this morning and I felt her teeth on my leg. I know she's just a distractible pup, but...what can I do?

Does anyone have suggestions of how I can redirect/train her? I don't want to wear sweatpants anymore.. it's too hot!!!

    Thanks!

I'm affraid there is not much you can do. My pup will be 4 months on Wednesday and I still only weadr 2 pairs of sweatpants and 3 shirts, torn pratcicaly appart. We are lucky, Middle Europe is not hot at the moment but May was crazy.
You can try and distract her with a toy. That is "standard procedure".
When Mango bites my ankles or slippers or pants, I stop. He loses interest in a second. He does that for 2 or 3 steps, and then stops.
