Just taken puppy to the vets after he weed himself in his sleep and started whimpering. Awful drive there when he was sick and started drooling. They're keeping him in and taking him to hospital. Absolutely terrified. Just wanted to talk to those who would understand.

Thankyou everyone. They've moved him to a bigger hospital and have rung to say they are very concerned and we have to wait and see how the next few hours go. He's on fluids.

Hi everyone. Thankyou so much for all your kindness. We had a 2 and a half hour drive last night to take him to a vet hospital with an MRI. They suspected meningitis but he was too ill for the tests so they were working on stabilizing him. We were being prepared for the worst. This morning we got a call from the vet that he's doing much better! Alot of his neurological signs have abated, although his menace response is still iffy (but this is developing in puppies so that may be why). He's going to be monitored and they will decide tomorrow if he needs more tests.
