Re: Puppy is poorly - 1st time dog owner! Sorry to hear Boston is poorly. Hope he gets better soon. This hot weather doesn't help. Megs has had a few bouts of diarrhoea today. All I've given her is some watery rice. Might try the cup of tea Jen. Never tried her on tea, our old dog loved it.

Re: Puppy is poorly - 1st time dog owner! Hi everyone Thanks so much for the good suggestions! I have taken them all on board and pleased to say Boston is feeling much better. I think chicken bones could have been the cause... A lady warned me in the park today that someone had a party on the weekend and her dog got hold of some on Monday which made him sick too. Then today I found ANOTHER chicken bone in Boston's mouth which I swiftly removed. It astounds me that people are so careless. I think I will have to go to that bit of the park by myself and do a litter pick. He has loved the rice and also a little milk in his water was the only thing I could get him to drink! I have previously learnt by accident that he loves cold tea when my mug was in the garden Trying to figure out how to attach a picture here!
