Hi, we are new to being a dog family so unsure what is the norm. We picked our 9 week old lab up on Friday and his poop has been quite loose is this normal for a pup?
Hi Catherine, Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your puppy! It's not unusual for them to have loose stools for a couple of days after coming home, as a kind of physical manifestation of the emotional upheaval they're going through. If it persists this week though, ask your vet to check them over - young puppies can get dehydrated quite quickly through unresolved diarrhea. Let us know how you get on
