We just brought our little girl home monday afternoon at 8 weeks and 2 days. Her crate training is spotty at best (to be expected at 3 days in though)

Little Elimeno has no problem walking in and out of her crate on her own. Has no problem if my 4 year old or hubby walk off but the minute I need to use the restroom, start laundry or do dishes she will wake from a dead sleep and howl bark and seemingly scream her disapproval.

I just put the undershirt I wore yesterday in the crate with her and i can't tell if it is working at all.

Do all lab puppies sound like they're extremely loud? The last lab I had in my life I was like 9 years young and do not recall her ever crying like this. However we did get her from the pound, and this little bean we did not.

Thanks for taking the time to read this.

Hi and welcome from me and Isla, my 16 month old choc lab.

Isla was and is still very vocal and loud! However, after an initial couple of weeks crying in her crate when alone she soon settled down and it became her quietest place.

Keep up with the crate it's definitely worth it
