    My 13 wks old Choc. Female only weighs 12 lbs, at 8 wks she weighed 11lbs. She has been to vet twice since she was 8wks old for shots and check ups. She eats and drinks plenty and is extremely hyper. I’m concerned about her lack of weight gain.

    Lab weights vary a lot. If she is happy and healthy, there is nothing to worry about. If you need further convincing, have a look at the puppy weights thread.

    All over the chart. ;)

    @5labs is correct.

    Don't focus on a chart that gives some sort of average. Useless unless your dog is the average. How would one know? Learn instead to feel for ribs. If sticking out and really easy to feel then increase the amount of food. Then after a week reassess.

    Later on also use a bird's eye iew to determine whether your dog has a waist.

    LIke Michael says, forget about charts and what your dog is supposed to weigh and even numbers on the scale. Look at your dog from an objective point of view.

    If you can post a photo I'm sure we would be happy to give our opinions...
