Puppy whining

Hi! My puppy was sad when a guest left and he lay down for 10 minutes when she left. Is that normal?

 

Like this guest comes often and it seems like my puppy is more attached to the guest than us...

 

It's pretty normal if the pup loses something they were enjoying - whether a new person or a toy - that they are going to feel a bit deflated for a while. It's got nothing to do with attachment.
