hi, I have recently posted about my 5 month old boy Riley who has lameness in front leg. He’s now on rest for a week and been given meloxoral. Problem now is he has awful diarrhoea..could it be the meloxoral and is it just his body getting used to it having not had it before? How should I treat. I have some protexin to put in his water, will this help? Thanks
Hi there, I'd definitely chat with your vet about this one as they will know whether that is a normal result of the drug or whether it's something else that needs further investigation. If it is a reaction to the drug then they might have an alternative for him. Let us know how he gets along!
