I read so much about Puppy Zoomies...but my 4 month old just doesn't seem to match the description. Her Zoomies are much longer than 3-5 minutes and she gets VERY bitey during this time and she has them MULTIPLE times between 4 pm and 9 pm. The crazy eyes are the worst. She looks possessed when she tried to bite me! LOL Anyone else have problems with lots of Zoomies or longer periods of them? What do you do? I've tried letting her run but that just seems to amp her up more. Having her calm in her crate or pen does'nt seem to get rid of them either. Looking for suggestions.

Can you use the chance to do a bit of calm training; sit, heal etc and pop her in her crate for a while?

    Zoomies!

Calm training can help if you catch it soon enough, although when are pup goes full zoom just get out the way.
The bites hurt as any control your teaching them goes out the window.
It can often take him a good forty five minutes to an hour to calm completely down.

Thanks, Chris. Glad I’m not alone. We are working on calm training now! Just learned to get on her bed. Have to teach her to stay snd settle there now.
