The guide dog association took a pup from her last litter and she has just started big school earlier this year. Apparently she is doing very well so far and they will choose again from this litter.

That's really interesting Annette - in the UK Guide Dogs breed their own pups.

Guide Dogs in Australia come from in-house breeding programs too, but some are still chosen from outside litters (but maybe just as additions to the breeding stock, not to go into training).

Yep my bad. Just a brain typing away. Assistance dogs australia will pick another pup from this litter and have one from the last litter. So I figure if they like the pups then they must be breeding some good temperaments. They appear very calm etc so it will be interesting to see them and meet the mummy on Sat. Very excited. Just seven weeks to go. Pups will be ready to be picked up from Tues March 31st.

They look like little brown teddy bears!! Just beautiful. Lovely dark brown chocolate - Mum looks a bit lighter - will their colour change later?

I think the colour they are is pretty close to what they will stay. There are a couple of lighter ones. The dad is dark as is their grandmother. I love the darker choc colour

Sounds like the breeder pays a lot of attention to temperament. It's all very exciting!! :)

Puppies were adorable. Hopefully I'm more successful with the pics this time. Boys are Green, blue, yellow and orange, girls are pink, burgandy, and purple(looks white in pics) green is my fave so far followed very closely by blue, pink and purple. I am still a little unsure if I really want a boy or not but she has left the litter open as she has others that don't know what sex they want.
