I HATE that OH (the one who insisted it was Labrador abuse to have Betsy sleep downstairs one more night) and Charlie get to sleep quietly in a carpeted room, and OH now insists Betsy sleeps with me in the spare room (until she stops trying to get Charlie to play all night) and she scrabbles round on the wooden floor all night....

    I'm cream crackered!

My OH will be away for a few nights this week. Is it bad that I'm super excited to snuggle with Axel all night long while he's away?! :D

I work shift work and Maria works part time on days and often goes to work before I get up. if I wake up and Chelsea is on the bed with me then Maria has gone to work, if Chelsea is on the mat then Maria is still at home.

@JenBainbridge Hey Jen, How did Stanley like daycare? We have to put Rolo in one evening this month and I feel awful. Its a family event and nobody can watch him... I dont want to just leave him and ask someone to feed and water him as I dont think thats fair.... So putting him overnight for one night at the place where we normaly do puppy playtime, so its not totally alien to him!

Stanley LOVES it! It's his idea of heaven.

He already goes a couple of times a week when we're both at work and it's his favourite place in the world. He gets to play to his hearts content and she spoils them rotten.

He's only ever stopped over once before, which was our wedding, so I was a bit apprehensive. But she sent me pics of him all settled so I felt better :)

Maybe you could send him for a couple of afternoons without you before you do it so it's not such a big change for him? Although I'm sure he'd be absolutely fine. Stanley didn't move from the couch all day yesterday, I think he partied a bit too hard :D

I'm having a real dilemma. Every morning I always say goodbye to Holly and stroke her before I go to work. She's moulting at the moment so my work clothes get covered in dog hair. Should I stop our morning ritual and turn up to work looking clean, or carry on and spend the morning plucking hairs off my clothes?

..you could wear a pale yellowy-gold suit/trousers/jumper and carry on with your morning ritual whilst STILL looking clean and very smart.

I've come to work this morning in a white top that has a LOT of black hair.

My morning Stanley cuddle is too important to care. I usually tell my clients about Stanley and have pics of him on my desk so I don't think they're too surprised.
