Or there is the third option - wear a badge saying "Labrador Owner". Most people will understand. As they say: "People that matter don't mind, and people that mind don't matter." (And OF COURSE you don't stop the morning ritual. Of course not. The very thought.)
Sorry I misread your reply Boogie. I thought you said get a roller which rolls off your clothes I must go to Specsavers
Just had a fantastic training session with Ella at dog club tonight. I nearly let my friends convince me to enter a Rally Novice trial in December. Nearly.
Poor wee pups are delayed on the motorway. I have now cleaned the oven, hob, microwave and porch keeping busy. The fridge will be next!
My random dog thoughts for the day: I am continuously amazed at how much my friend's chihuahua looks like my elderly aunt. Something in the eyes, like she knows all about that carton of Ben & Jerry's I ate last night that I really shouldn't have. And that chihuahuas are primo cuddlers, despite not even being an armful of dog. And that I really need to stop borrowing other people's dogs and get one of my own...I'm starting to weird people out begging to dog sit. And finally, still really glad I got to hang with Miss Fine (Brogan's former best buddy) on the sofa all day yesterday. Score!
I'm taking the fact that no further news from Mags means that Marvellous Miss Mollie has arrived at (her very clean) home.
Chihuahuas have very expressive eyes, we have a Chi rescue and doing "watch me"s with her can be seriously intense lol
I love the little suckers. I started fostering them because I thought they were "safe" - funny-looking, bad-tempered little biters whom would not tempt me into another foster fail situation. Ha, ha. Joke was on me - I totally fell in love with my first one within a week. If I had my druthers I would have one BIG BIG dog and one chi-something rescue!
It is a cute combo She isn't super tiny (7kg) and he isn't big big (still a puppy), but they are cute together
