Or there is the third option - wear a badge saying "Labrador Owner".
Most people will understand. As they say: "People that matter don't mind, and people that mind don't matter."

(And OF COURSE you don't stop the morning ritual. Of course not. The very thought.)

Just had a fantastic training session with Ella at dog club tonight.

I nearly let my friends convince me to enter a Rally Novice trial in December. Nearly.

Poor wee pups are delayed on the motorway. I have now cleaned the oven, hob, microwave and porch keeping busy. The fridge will be next!

My random dog thoughts for the day:

I am continuously amazed at how much my friend's chihuahua looks like my elderly aunt. Something in the eyes, like she knows all about that carton of Ben & Jerry's I ate last night that I really shouldn't have.

And that chihuahuas are primo cuddlers, despite not even being an armful of dog.

And that I really need to stop borrowing other people's dogs and get one of my own...I'm starting to weird people out begging to dog sit.
And finally, still really glad I got to hang with Miss Fine (Brogan's former best buddy) on the sofa all day yesterday. Score! :happyfeet:

I'm taking the fact that no further news from Mags means that Marvellous Miss Mollie has arrived at (her very clean) home. :D

Chihuahuas have very expressive eyes, we have a Chi rescue and doing "watch me"s with her can be seriously intense lol

I love the little suckers. I started fostering them because I thought they were "safe" - funny-looking, bad-tempered little biters whom would not tempt me into another foster fail situation. Ha, ha. Joke was on me - I totally fell in love with my first one within a week. If I had my druthers I would have one BIG BIG dog and one chi-something rescue!

It is a cute combo :) She isn't super tiny (7kg) and he isn't big big (still a puppy), but they are cute together :inlove:
