I have another cat but we live next to a very bored aggresive neglected husky who eats them and anything he can catch. I would fear for any cats safety. Doesn't your oh like cats ? Or is he allergic? My brother loves cats but is very allergic to them and some dogs. he has a whippet bedlington cross at the moment and Montys not set if his problem.
It's not that he dislikes them and he's not allergic. He just thinks they're a tie - ie having to get someone to look after them if we go away (which is rare!). And he thinks there's too many in our road already! One day...
My friends lab Archie got bitten on a walk by an adder...it was desperate struggle to get him to a vet, get the anti-venom, (apparently it is quite short supply..). The good news is Archie survived and is going home today! It has been such a stressful time for his owner and it was touch and go whether he would make it.... Luckily they had a 4x4 they could just drive onto the moor and directly to the vet.
You would think that Ripple would have grown out of playing with my full length dining room curtains by now .
No rorys nearly 4 and soft furnishings still hold an unhealthy fascination for him. Moo has stopped sliding across the kitchen floor and doing spinny doggy handbrake turns now she's 14
Molly launched herself at a bee yesterday -so I grabbed it, and of course it stung me. Fortunately I'm not allergic to bee stings but it didn't half hurt! Still a bit hot and itchy, but better than her getting stung in the mouth. It didn't die so it must have been a bumble bee I suppose -great big fluffy thing. I don't remember Molly being so awful with the bees last summer.
Sorry everybody but I think the kitten looks like a Shredder My friend recently got a kitten and named him Luther (no, not after the best Luther) and it's a surprisingly good name for a cat!
So it's safe to say Stanley would never make a good alert dog. I got up through the night to get some water (I'd had a couple of wines - oops ) and came over all funny and my legs went under me in the kitchen and I really hit my head. When I got back up, I felt even worse and the next thing I know I wake up on the floor so I must have passed out. Stanley throughout all of this was looking at me from his bed like really mother, it's 4am do we need to have this carry on? Not the slightest bit concerned
