What a brave lady your mum is. How lucky Jem is to have someone to look out for her in her time of biggest need.

Not had a good morning so far fell over at 5.30am in a muddy field total face plant in the mud. Mud in my hair and mud pack on my face, really hurt but nothing broken. Rory helped by lying down next to me and rolling about on top of me he thought it looked fun. My friends who I saw later laughed at my muddy face but were worried cos i have form for breaking things.the worst thing is our local council morons have introduce stupid lead laws on the local parks if the rumours are true.9.15 and I'm and annoyed and bruised

That's not a good start to your day..and you're bound to feel stiff tomorrow too :( Thank heavens for a thoughtful Labrador to roll all over you.
Rubbish about the lead laws - that's what it's like here too, in the few parks we have - they're more like playing fields, so we don't go there anyway.

Rubbish night. I have to have a hospital procedure this afternoon so have had to prepare by clearing out system - I know too much information  but it’s been a long night. The only reason I’m telling this though is ‘cos Red whimpered twice in the night - took her outside and she had diarrhoea. Both feeling sorry for ourselves this morning :poop: .

I know many don't like free play before training - but it's good for us, really useful. Yesterday I prompted OH (who does the handling at dog school) to try recalling Coco from his play - rewarded with further play. And he did. Coco came hurtling back each time (x3). He was having a good game of chase with Bertie (huge German Shepherd pup), Roxy (Doberman - he loves Roxy) and new dog Flint (young English Pointer - devilishly handsome).

Does anyone else read a load of posts and think "ooh, I must reply to those". Then decide what you want to write but get distracted and never actually reply?

Yes! I'm sure my postings would be in the thousands by now if I weren't so easily distracted.
