I'm currently training myself with positive reinforcement. Every time I finish a cleaning task I treat myself with a biscuit..

Clean the skirting board.. biscuit :D
    Mop the floors.. biscuit :D

I have shocked myself into a diet. I dashed through the hall, past the full length mirror, with just my jeans (tight) on - oh my goodness! What on earth is all that hanging over my waist band ?? I'll have to reward myself for cleaning task with a game of tug or something ;)

I got the norovirus a few weeks ago and lost 8lb. Best diet I've ever been on, I'd highly recommend it :D

Saw the saddest sight this afternoon, a Sausage Dog that was so fat it looked like a haggis, even it's legs looked fat and wrinkly, like a Basset. It was going into a butcher's shop!

Yep, in fact I only have to put my head anywhere near his for whatever reason and I will get my ears washed for me.
But yes, you really should stop washing in bacon fat. Low fat spread is much cheaper

We ran out of butter yesterday and I actually got quite panicky. I had to go cold turkey on my current hot crossed bun addiction

When we're out in the garden doing "big jobs" (that's code for coppicing trees, cutting down big stuff, dragging compost bag uphill, digging holes in stony ground), OH gets all sweaty (while I get very tired pointing and saying things like "you've missed a bit"). Pongo's role is to wait til OH flings himself down on the ground with a groan, then Pongo DASHES over and starts to wash his face all over, hands, arms, any bit of bare skin he can get to. He takes this job very, very seriously.
On the rare occasions that I get sweaty, I try the same trick and he just ignores me.
Obviously OH tastes better than me.

I need to make some sardine training treats for tomorrow’s gundoggery, does anyone have a good recipe? Last month’s class I ran out and had to borrow some so want to avoid that this time!

I use a big (1kg) tin of sardines, blitz with 4 large eggs and enough rice flour (or any type of flour you want - I have loads of rice flour to use up!) to make it the consistency of fish paste like you buy in those little jars for sandwiches. Ick.
Spread it into a pyramid pan if you have one, otherwise thinly onto a lined baking sheet, and bake for about 20 minutes at 180C. If you’re not using a pyramid pan, slice straight from the oven and maybe put back in again for a few minutes to crisp up.
Super easy and the dogs love them.
