You have to grow really big and tall, but do it sneakily so the hoomans don't know how far you can actually reach! Mum knows now that I can reach a really long way, so she normally pushes everything so far back I can't get it. But she's so busy mull-tee-tars-king at the moment that she can be forgetful. She says it's because we're going on a TRIP and she has to get lots done before then. I like TRIPS lots and lots! Willow
So glad you got to sneak a special treat Willow! Also happy to hear your mom was pleased to find you doing so. My mom always pushes food to the back of the counter as well, but she left to deal with the little fluff ball. So I got up real high, put my front paws on the counter and found a bowl of yummy 'waffle batter' and boy was it good!!! My mom came in but I didn't care to stop, I needed to finish, too good to just leave it to sit on the counter, obviously.
Guys, has anyone heard bout this GRINCH guy? I was keeping an eye on him the other day as mum said... he doesnt like Cwistmas!???? what the hell... i dont like the sound of him. I heard mum talking about buying me stockings and presents and dressing me up the other day and dad laughed and said to mum oh your silly...and she said stop being a grinch. I am worried my dad is the grinch??????? what if he takes the tree and gifts what shall I do? I thought my dad was lovely. P.S mum said ignore those wires. She is sorting them out :')
I haven't heard anything about this grinch fella. I wouldn't worry though, Rolo. It sounds like your mums got your back. What I don't understand though is why you're sat like that? I can see a tree with things on it and things underneath it. It's our duty to destroy that tree and everything underneath it. Best get on it, Rolo!! Stanley
Oh Rolo! Does your dad look like the one on the big moving picture? Mum says mine is a grinch sometimes...I do hope not. He brought a tree home yesterday....maybe he took it from someone else??
@edzbird He pulls faces like that sometimes but isnt green? maybe he puts makeup on... oh no really - I hope not. Keep me updated of any more clues. @JenBainbridge Stanley - I had a go once, i ate all the snow blanket from underneath.. mum wasnt happy - so she started giving me treats when I didnt go near it.. I figure its better that way (sometimes i even pretend to approach the tree in order to get a treat) she thinks Im soft - You should try that.
Hehe must have been tied to the couch or something. Can you see all of that stuff to the right of the TV? Chew-a-ble!!!
Oooooh, is it tree time again? I love tree time. There are so many boxes full of interesting smells under the tree. When I was a puppy dad told me that I must never touch them, but one day he gave one to me and he let me tear the paper off it. It was full of lovely, tasty, smelly treats! I can't wait, I can't wait !
Annie says..... Fred and I are very good and never touch the tree, but Ted the cat gets in trouble for climbing the tree to get the robin
When my mum was getting my stuff ready for Doggy day care this morning I got a bit excited and jumped up at her. I knocked my bowl out of her hands and it smashed on the floor. Mum wasn't very pleased and said that I'm at the age where most dogs get rehomed and I should think about that. I have thought about it lots and my mum is really really silly. She wouldn't last a day without me. I mean, who would destroy her xmas tree, or lick all of her food first? And who would she take for walks and she'd have no ones chew to hold. No, no, she wouldn't cope without me at all. Sooo I can just carry on as I am Stanley
I have the number for DogLine if you need it. Silly hoomum. She would be round as a beachball if she didn't have you to walk her and help with her die-it. Lilly S x
Mum went to her first day of her new job today..so when she came I ate her new diary... Don't like mum going to work.. Miserable Benson.
Oh Benson mate, I'm sorry. That sounds rubbish. I don't like it when dad is away all day or when mum is away all day (although at least when I've got dad with me he PLAYS, mum is really boring...). Good job on eating the diary though, that was very clever - she can't possibly misunderstand that message. Why don't you come over here to play one day? Pongo xxx
Ugh, it's the worst when mum and dad are BOTH at work! I get a kong which is so delicious and treats hidden around the house, but I get SO bored once I'm done. Benson, I never thought to eat something of mum's...could be a good idea. That might show her how bored I am. I usually just lay on the couch waiting for my human friend to come and take me for a walk...she's OK but she doesn't let me off my leash and never has a ball. I keep trying to explain how my walks work - I try to pull her to my park, but she never brings me, something about "learning to walk properly", whatever that means. I'm going to explore now, and see what I can eat. Quinn
Mum has been at home today, but she still ignowes me for ages! She has been scwibbling on bits of paper, and putting the bits in more bits of paper! Very dull! I went to a NEW place for my walksies today though! Mum said I had to be extwa good, because we'd meet dogwalkingpacks. Wow! We did too! I met hundweds of dogs! They were mostly vewy small, but there was one Labwador who played with me. I stood on one of the small dogs and it squealed! Mum said we had to go then. I met a Shep-something from Gewmany too. I didn't like him at all. He wushed up and gwowled. I told Mum we had to leave! His Mum smacked him on the nose, then I felt very bad for him. But he wasn't vewy nice at all.
I've just seen Santa. Santa! He came passed our house. I only barked a bit. Moo woke up and ran out the back door because she thought it was next doors vile dog causing trouble again. She is so deaf and she missed Santa
Why was mum cross when I found a garbage bin tipped over on it's side and I dove in? I found a whole bag of nummy stuff. I suppose I can see that mum would be a bit mad because I think she was trying to play the Leave It game but I''m not sure exactly because it's hard to hear Leave It when you've found a whole bag with nummy stuff all for yourself.
