Hi! My lab pup is usually in the garden during the daytime (it's safe in Australia) but yesterday I spotted a few brown/black rats running along the fence in our garden. Any tips on how to get rid of them without harming my pup?
Rats are everywhere I know. We have had them feeding off the bird table. Ended up with Rentokill putting bait boxes down. Make sure you pup’s Leptospirosis vaccine is up to date and keep away from any puddles nearby. Rats don’t have a bladder and trail urine through puddles which could carry the disease. I presume your family will want to get rid of the rats too?
