    You said she is 1 yr old? She's still a puppy and will probably chew for quite some time to come. Lucy, our 7 year old lab mix, chewed from the time we got her at the shelter (she was 6 months) until she was around 4 I think? She chewed up every bed we ever gave her so we stopped giving them to her. We gave her chew bones that she would shred to pieces in mere minutes. lol I think the key is to re-direct her attention to something else that she CAN chew on. There is hope....Lucy doesn't chew much of anything now...once in a while she'll shred a piece of paper into a thousand tiny pieces, but for the most part she doesn't chew on anything.     Stuffed (and frozen) Kongs have always been a great option to divert attention from chewing.
    Puppies definitely chew more than older dogs! We were lucky with Lilly she wasn't a great chewer.
    Have you used kongs or filled treat balls or anything?
