We have 3 month old Labrador pups. I am bringing them for walks on the lead but our chocolate lab is frightened of meeting other dogs. He yelps and barks and wants to be held. The golden one, female, has no problem with other dogs and greets them in a friendly manner, as she does with people. She came from a breeder who has lots of dogs on the premises along with a large family with adults and children around. The chocolate lab comes from a breeder who is a farmer and appears to live alone. He just had the one litter of pups and is the owner of both parents. Might his be the reason for Finn's terror? How can I best approach the solution to this problem, please? At home, the two pups are responding very well to training. I am reading Pippa Mattinson's book and find it very helpful. Deirdre
