So we have started Oscars recall training and on day one he ended up getting his paw stuck in barbed wire. He was doing so well coming back when we called him, adn then he jumped over the barded wire and got caught. Tahnkfully we rushed over to him got him untangled, and when we got to the vet they said to wasn't too day and they clipped the cut together and gave him some antibiotics and anti-inflamitories.
Just have to leave it a couple of days before we get started on the recall again.
But oscar being the happy little thing he is was just him happy little self through it all. :)

Oh bad luck! I hope it heals up quickly. Darned barbed wire - I hate that stuff. I know it's practical, but it's dratted stuff for animals and people getting caught. (I cut my leg on some, really quite badly, as a child so I have barbed wire childhood trauma!).

Poor boy - but what a fright you must have got!
Lilly did something similar on holiday last year. I wasn't there but heard the screams from Sophie who was. Luckily OH was there and helped with the disentangling and Lilly got away with a few scratches on her tummy.
    Wishing a speedy recovery.
