Our 10-month-old puppy Charlie (choc lab) has got a red sore on his nose down the middle, and some discolouration on his bottom lip - looks a little faded. Has anyone seen this before? Do we need to go to the vets? He is crate trained and when we go out for more than an hour he goes in his crate which is an XL so he can stretch and move around. That looks a little sore, doesn't it. It looks like an abrasion - could be from snuffling about in the garden, but I think with all the stuff about Alabama Rot, I would keep a VERY close eye on it and if any sign of getting bigger, or not healing in a few days I would DEFINITELY get in to see the vet.
