Very proud and happy to say that after all the health checks (hips, elbows, eyes, EIC, SD2, CNM, EIC), the temperament check, the conformation to breed standard check, and after passing the requisite the dummy exams - my application to have Poppy registered with the German Retriever Club as a breeding bitch has finally been approved!!

I have researched many stud dogs, both in Germany and abroad, and have found around ten in Germany that would be a good match. I have a short list of five, who are all working line, red/yellow, excellent health, great temperament, proven great workers, have already sired at least one litter, and who live within a four-hour drive.

    Obsessive, me??? ;) Never.

Sounds as if you have a made sure that you get the best stud possible :D, and there is nothing wrong with being obsessive - it's just what our girls deserve :D:D
