One year ago this day , we said goodbye to our little rescue girl Millie . What a character she was , full of fun and mischief , but most of all , a wonderful friend to Sam , they were inseparable . Millie suffered from inflammatory brain disease, due to previous abuse , but she did have three very happy years with our family, full of love . Ironically , Sam isn't well today , almost on cue, bless him x
Has it been a year already? Still feels like yesterday. She was such a wonderful little dog, used to love your photos of both of them on your gorgeous walks. I hope Sam feels a bit perkier later.

I'm very sorry about Millie, and to hear that Sam's not feeling well. It's awful that her life was cut short due to abuse, but how lucky that she got 3 lovely years with your lovely family.

Anniversaries of this sort are hard and one year anniversaries even harder. Millie was already passed before I joined the forum, but it's clear that she will be long remembered by many here as well as by everyone who knew her through you and Sam. Sounds like you both need a cuddle today.
Ah the anniverseries can be tough. Millie brought so much to you and Sam, don't be sad, you've a lot to celebrate in her memory.
