December 2011 and December 2012 were both sad months for me, as those were the months I lost my two old boys, Billy and Bones. I loved them both so much and will never forget them. They were such great dogs.

They both look darlings, it must have been so sad for you. That is the trouble with loving dogs, their lifetime is so much shorter than ours and we have the pain of losing them; wouldn't be without them though.

Yes, it is a tail blur! Billy was such an enthusiastic tail wagger, he used to have to close his eyes because he would regularly whack himself in the face with his own tail!!! ;D (Must have been the spaniel in him…). Bones was a much more chilled-out character, his way of showing that he was very pleased to see you was to sit on his bottom and put both his paws up against your legs and ask to have his chest scratched. :)

Also, I think the tail blur is because they have clearly just been caught on Daughter's bed… ;) hence the exaggeratedly innocent looks. ::)
