December 2011 and December 2012 were both sad months for me, as those were the months I lost my two old boys, Billy and Bones. I loved them both so much and will never forget them. They were such great dogs.
Re: Remembering my boys I loved Bones from afar. Here's to many happy memories of your beautiful dogs past and present x
Re: Remembering my boys Thought with you Karen , these dogs of ours are never far from our minds and always in our hearts xxxx Lovely photo of beautiful boys x
Re: Remembering my boys Ah, they look just lovely. So sad they have to go so soon, I hope you have lots of very happy memories of them.
Re: Remembering my boys They both look darlings, it must have been so sad for you. That is the trouble with loving dogs, their lifetime is so much shorter than ours and we have the pain of losing them; wouldn't be without them though.
Re: Remembering my boys Karen they both look like fine old boys ,I bet they have you much love and happy memories....and is that a tail blur I can see there?x
Re: Remembering my boys Spotted that tail blur too. They were lucky to have had you in their lives. Thinking of you ♥
Re: Remembering my boys Yes, it is a tail blur! Billy was such an enthusiastic tail wagger, he used to have to close his eyes because he would regularly whack himself in the face with his own tail!!! ;D (Must have been the spaniel in him…). Bones was a much more chilled-out character, his way of showing that he was very pleased to see you was to sit on his bottom and put both his paws up against your legs and ask to have his chest scratched. Also, I think the tail blur is because they have clearly just been caught on Daughter's bed… hence the exaggeratedly innocent looks. :
Re: Remembering my boys They look such sweet boys . Such lucky boys to have a lovely life and be so loved. And lucky you for having those lovely memories!
