@IreneM - my two can get quite rough, with the big guy (mine is 80 lb or so!) body slamming her, running at her and mouthing her so that she rolls on the ground, slams into the ground, etc.

When it gets intense, I get out the treats and change the game - usually redirecting them both to sit or lay down and treating will stop them in their tracks. If needed, or if they're playing boisterously inside, I separate them by putting her in her crate or ex-pen.

Thank you it makes me feel better. I can tell he likes her, he shares his food and water even she has her own bowl. He shares the couch with her usually he is pretty good. She steals his ball or a stick they rumble a little bit and he get vocal lol. She is already a little brat. I tell them both to lay down and cool it, i get some looks but usually they both go lay down. I love them both my little monsters. He is 60 lbs not so little anymore.
