My lab used to fetch tennis balls. She has become obsessed with river rocks and loves to hold them in her mouth and wants to play fetch with them. Any suggestions on heavier balls that she may prefer?

Our old Lab, Scooby, was rock-obsessed. I bought him a Kong Safestix and he happily carried that around instead, and fetched it from either water or land. Rocks are bad and will cause tooth damage.

Tennis balls, real ones, have abrasive fibreglass in the fuzzy coating, so they are not good for teeth either, if the dog chews. I switched to ball hockey balls. They are very light weight and they float. Tennis balls will get water logged and sink. They can both easily be chewed through though.
