If they're cut down the length and he's getting the marrow by scraping with his front teeth then keep an eye on that as it'll wear out his incisors (all the small teeth at the front). Might be better to get them uncut and also take them away after a day, before he starts getting into bone. These cow leg bones are incredibly hard - they are designed as structural support for an animal weighing hundreds of kilos.
