The pool looks lovely and she looks like she is having a fabulous time! But now I am worried about Duke - does he get to play in the pool too? I hope that barrel isn't his home...
duke is fine he was chained up outside cause he will run away if hes outside especially if he sees a neighbor cat or a squirrel he really wants a squirrel lol.
yes they were having fun. Everyone is telling me how big she is gonna be not sure her mom is not a very big lab but she does seem to be growing fast.
I just want to point out Punky that chaining a dog up outside for a long period of time is not ok. Having a barrel for a dog's main shelter is absolutely, definitely not ok. Duke's fur looks very yellow - that is usually a sign that a dog has been out in the sun a lot. He looks like he could do with a good brushing!
I do have to agree with Karen - I'm afraid Duke's coat makes him look in pretty poor condition, as though he spends a long time in the sun outside, and given that he is chained up outside to an oil barrel it's hard to not be concerned about him. I hope he doesn't still chase things while attached to a long chain, as hitting the end of it at speed will do him no good at all.
first off dukes not mine second duke is house trained and duke is shedding bad right now and yes he needs brushed but he wont let you he thinks the brush is a toy and just wants to play.
there also working on fencing in a area of the yard so when hes outside he dont have to be on a chain
That's really good to hear Punky, that your family are working on a fenced-in area so Duke can run around freely. He and Roxy will have a lovely time playing then. Mr Grumpy; he is a chocolate lab, but his coat looks yellow on the top where he is shedding badly.
